WillowSprouts Hemp Prefolds

WillowSprouts diapers are super soft, durable and absorbent, made from certified organic hemp and cotton. They are natural colored, with no bleach or harsh chemicals used to make them. They can be simply folded and laid in a snug fitting diaper cover. Hemp is MUCH more absorbent than a standard cotton prefold, which helps to keep baby happy and dry..... Hemp is VERY durable and wears in, and typically lasts longer than regular cotton! 

Hemp fabric contains natural oils that strip with repeated washing, thereby becoming more absorbent over time. They start out looking thin, but will fluff somewhat after first use, and do well in the dryer.  Hemp is by nature more absorbent than cotton, so less is more!

WillowSprouts Prefold Diapers are made of 2 extremely soft layers of hemp fleece and come in 2 easily folded sizes. Hemp does shrink slightly after the first few washes. These aren't techniquely prefolds since they are just 2 layers with no extra layers down the middle. But they are shaped like prefolds and can be pinned or Snappied or just folded and layed in a cover.

You can't get more environmentally friendly than hemp/organic cotton.  Traditionally grown cotton uses 10% of the world's pesticides and 25% of the world's insecticides. WillowSprouts prefolds can be folded in thirds or forths and used as a super absorbent pocket diaper insert.  They can also be folded and laid in a snug fitting wrap such as a Bummis Cover or Prorap. They can also be pinned or Snappied and used under a wool soaker.
